An 'Introduction to Deer Stalking' Experience

At Forrest Estate we can provide you with a truly unique experience on one of Scotland’s finest estates, to experience first hand the art of deer stalking.

On our 'Introduction to Deer Stalking' our experienced stalkers can guide you through all you need to know to from deer identification, gun handling, safety as well as the art and skills of stalking red and roe deer.

The course comprises of deer identification, habitat, gun handling, safety as well as the art and skills of stalking red and roe deer plus tuition on the rifle range followed by a simulated stalk.

• Meet at Forrest Estate Shooting Ground – tea / coffee on arrival
• Classroom session - discuss deer, habitat, stalking, rifles, ammunition, safety and other relevant facts
• Rifle range session – practice shots with stalking rifle, safety etc.
• Simulated stalk – experience a simulated stalk on various targets.
